Sierra Pacific Sports
Grooming and Cleaning Programs in California and Nevada. Free Assessment, Written Report.
We are a synthetic turf grooming contractor schools and parks rely on for yearly scheduled maintenance. Three T-Kare plans with 4, 8 or 16 cleanings and groomings a year, and a written inspection report at every visit.
What a grooming visit does
- Field grooming keeps infill levels even and helps the field last, following the turf manufacturer's guidelines.
- Grooming keeps fibers upright and the field clean of debris.
- Sweeping with a magnet removes metal and ferrous material from the infill that could injure players.
- Infill that migrated from heavy rain and field use gets redistributed.

Questions about grooming and cleaning programs
What is included in a T-Kare plan?
Every T-Kare plan includes a field evaluation, a field inspection and written report at each grooming, and 1 professional G-Max test per year. T-Kare Basic has 4 cleanings and groomings a year, T-Kare Choice has 8, and T-Kare Optimum Choice, Full Service, has 16 plus 1 power grooming.
Do I get a record of each visit?
Yes. Every visit includes a written inspection report, so you have a record of your field's condition for your district and your warranty file.
Is synthetic turf maintenance free?
No. In the past, synthetic turf fields were promoted as maintenance-free. While turf does reduce the maintenance an athletic field needs, it is not maintenance free. Regular grooming keeps infill even, fibers upright and the field clean.
